BMES: Biomedical Engineering Society, NU Student Chapter

The mission of the BMES is to build and support the biomedical engineering community at Northeastern University, with activities designed to communicate recent advances, discoveries, and inventions; promote education and professional development; and integrate the perspectives of the academic, medical, governmental, and business sectors.

They aim to connect interested undergraduate students with faculty working in BME and related fields. The Northeastern chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) features presentations by nearby companies about coop opportunities and by graduate students on their research on campus and how others can get involved. They also offer career advising and information about graduate school as well as other fun events.
