Unit Operations Lab Renovation Celebrated with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On September 27, the Department of Chemical Engineering celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Unit Operations Lab in the Mugar Life Sciences Building. In the lab, first-year students learn the core concepts of chemical engineering, from conservation principles to fluid dynamics, through hands-on projects. Department chair Thomas Webster, center, cut the ribbon before a crowd of alumni, donors, faculty, and students. The project was supported by philanthropic contributions from Richard Menelly, AS’59, Linda Menelly MacIntosh, E’82, Robert MacIntosh, and Marian Menelly.
