RISE 2015
The 2015 Research, Innovation and Scholarship Expo was a huge success displaying hundreds of posters from various disciplines. Dozens of students represented the engineering and technology category, and two students in particular displayed posters focused around Parkinson’s patients. Yi Zeng presented: “Cantilever Pen Redesign for Disabled or Developmental Writing” and Heather Sin presented: “Early Detection of Parkinson’s throgh Handwriting Analysis”.
Along with a RISE booklet, RISE “dollars” were handed out upon entrance of the event. People were able to invest their dollars in the presenter(s) whose research or idea you thought had the most potential. At the end of the day the presentation with the most money invested in their idea will be awarded the RISE Award for Greatest Entrepreneurial Potential.
