Giberti Awarded Alumni Service Award

Chemical Engineering Alumnus Richard “Dick” Giberti is set to receive the prestigious 2024 Alumni Service Award from Northeastern University’s Department of Chemical Engineering on April 2, 2024. This award honors alumni who have made significant contributions to the success of Chemical Engineering at various levels, from students to program initiatives.

Dr. Richard (Dick) Giberti has over 50 years of experience in business management as well as developing, executing and managing technology projects and portfolios for small, mid-size and large companies in the processing industries. His experience includes equipment and process development, licensing, international technology transfer, sales, marketing, business development and environmental affairs in the areas of renewable energy generation and storage, liquid-solid separation, thermal separation, fluidized bed processing, gas and particulate scrubbing, and coal and copper mining and processing. It spans the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, renewable energy generation and storage, fossil fuel, petrochemical, minerals and environmental industries both domestically and internationally.  He is currently engaged in the development of an informational website platform and blog on Renewable Energy Generation, Storage and Distribution.

Dr. Richard “Dick” Giberti’s exemplary career and dedication to innovation make him a deserving recipient of the 2024 Alumni Service Award, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the field of Chemical Engineering.
