Auguste Elected AAAS Fellow

ChE Professor Debra Auguste was elected as an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) 2025 Fellow in the Engineering section for seminal contributions to the field of biomaterials, particularly in the study of chemical and mechanical methods to enhance targeted delivery.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science is one of the world’s largest general scientific societies and publisher of the Science family of journals. The honor of being elected a Fellow of AAAS, which began in 1874, is a distinguished lifetime honor within the scientific community. The 2025 class of Fellows will be formally recognized at the Annual Meeting and at a subsequent Fellows Forum in Washington, D.C. on May 29, 2026.
