ChE Professor and PhD Candidates Selected to Participate in MALSI+ 2020

ChE Professor Thomas Webster, PhD candidate David Medina Cruz, PhD candidate Ada Vernet Crua, and their team selected to participate in MALSI+ 2020 with one of their startups SynCell Biotechnology. SynCell Biotechnology, Inc.’s mission is to unlock the potential of bacteria and Green Nanotechnology in the creation of nanomaterials with biomedical applications in the fight of some of the most worrisome healthcare concerns. Using bacteria as biofactories, our core technology allows them to produce environmentally-friendly and safe nanomaterials with antimicrobial, anticancer, and antioxidant properties with great potential in the biomedical field.
