ChE MS Student Angela Isibor wins the AAUW Scholarship
Chemical Engineering MS student Angela Isibor has won The American Association of University Women (AAUW) scholarship. Angela has demonstrated academic excellence, started her own company, and has recently joined Northeastern University’s Chemical Engineering program to complete her Master’s in Chemical Engineering. In her first year of graduate school, she has completed a certificate in Engineering Leadership through the Gordon Institute for Engineering Leadership and has successfully lead and completed a project at DropWise Technologies.
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Their mission is to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Their International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Recipients are selected for academic achievement and demonstrated commitment to women and girls. The goal is for these”recipients to return to their home countries to become leaders in business, government, academia, community activism, the arts, and sciences.”
